Watch With Us has the munchies this weekend — a hunger for entertaining new movies that only Hulu can satisfy.

Fortunately, the Disney-owned streamer just added Pizza Movie, a winning comedy about two stoners who undergo an epic quest to consume some pizza.

If you desire something a little more complex, check out The Boogeyman, a creepy 2023 horror flick starring The Mindy Project’s Chris Messina.

Love is still in the air this season, so why not spend time with Sally Field in the charming '80s rom-com Murphy’s Romance?

‘Pizza Movie’ (2016)

When college roommates Jack (Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo) and Montgomery (The Goldbergs’ Sean Giambrone) consume an experimental drug with nauseating side effects, they discover that the only cure is to consume pizza — lots of it. But getting it proves more difficult than they could ever imagine, as they have to avoid their mean RA, Blake (Jack Martin), and a malfunctioning pizza delivery robot that keeps their caloric cure away from their hungry mouths. Can Jack and Montgomery stay lucid enough — and avoid getting distracted by an out-of-control party and nightmare-inducing hallucinations — to eat the pizza they crave?

Pizza Movie is a smart film with a deliberately stupid premise and pitch-perfect execution. Like Pineapple Express, it’s a crude but enjoyable stoner comedy about two friends who like to get high and eat. It doesn’t get much more complicated than that, but the film has enough jokes and surprisingly inventive visuals to keep you entertained. Be warned: You’ll want to eat pizza during and after watching this movie.

‘The Boogeyman’ (2023)

After one of his patients commits suicide in his home, therapist Will Harper (Chris Messina) is understandably disturbed, especially since one of his daughters, Sadie (Sophie Thatcher), discovered the body. But as traumatic as that is, there’s something more sinister lurking in the shadows — something that could be supernatural. Sadie believes it’s linked to the suicide and investigates, but what she finds is scarier than she or her father could have ever imagined. Is the Boogeyman haunting them? And if so, how do you get rid of something that doesn’t have a physical form?

Based on a Stephen King short story, The Boogeyman is satisfyingly creepy. Until its climax, the film suggests more than it actually reveals, which is a great indicator that you’re watching a good horror movie. Messina showcases an impressive, dramatic range that won him praise in the HBO series Sharp Objects, while Thatcher is terrific as a teenage heroine whose intelligence just might save her entire family — if only she can get anyone to believe her.

‘Murphy’s Romance’ (1985)

Murphy Jones (James Garner) is a fiftysomething widower living a quiet life in a small Arizona town when single mom Emma Moriarty (Sally Field) arrives and changes his life forever. He’s instantly smitten, but she’s not so sure she has time for romance. But as she gets to know Murphy, she realizes he might be the guy for her — even if he’s old enough to be her father. Can they bridge their age gap and find love in a hopeless place?

Nothing much happens throughout Murphy’s Romance, unless you count Emma’s taking care of horses, Murphy ordering supplies at his pharmacy or the couple slowly walking around town at night as dramatic. But that’s exactly the charm of the film, which doesn’t raise any stakes except the one that’s most important: love. In chronicling the friendship between Murphy and Emma, the film shows how love can blossom between two people through mutual appreciation and respect. Field is appealing as a scrappy mama who can’t seem to relax, while Garner earned his only Oscar nomination for his role as a gentle man who is open to a second go-around with romance.
