Alex Warren is no ordinary Belieber.

The singer revealed that he's a huge fan of Justin Bieber while making his debut at the 2026 Grammy Awards, and shared how his newfound fame had him scrambling to hide his stanning over the years.

Warren showed his Belieber colors when asked what celebrity he'd want a chance to interact with while mingling with some of music's biggest names during Sunday's ceremony. "Justin Bieber," Warren told *'s *editor-in-chief Patrick Gomez and PEOPLE editor-at-large Janine Rubenstein on the red carpet. "That's a simple, easy answer."

"I used to email Justin Bieber growing up," he explained. "I saw he would skateboard and I was a competitive skateboarder growing up, and so I'd be like, 'Oh, we should skate sometime,' thinking he would read it. And I had to delete all of my DMs the minute this all happened."

The "Ordinary" singer quipped that there was "like 400 of them," before he got rid of the evidence, adding, "There's probably a restraining order I don't know about."

Still, the upside to Warren's nabbing a Best New Artist nomination for this year's award ceremony is that he'll be able to meet Bieber face-to-face. "We're like two tables away too," the former member of the content creation hub Hype House noted.

It's not the first time Warren has revealed that he's reached out to celebrities using social media.

The singer recently shared that after learning of his Grammy nomination, he reached out to fellow nominees Lola Young, Katseye, The Marías, Leon Thomas, Olivia Dean, and Sombr to congratulate them as well.

"I FaceTimed everyone, like literally every Best New Artist," Warren told *E! News*. "Or I tried to FaceTime as many as I could, and I got a few of them. I had an amazing conversation with Sombr and Addison."

As Warren put it, it's part of his nature as "such a people person." He added, "I love how everyone's art, like, if you look at the best new artists, all of us are different, and I love that so much. And I know I was s----ing myself, so I wanted to make sure everyone else was good."

The 68th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah for his sixth and final time, airs Sunday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.**
