A bride's divorced parents made a comical reception entrance to Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"

The lighthearted moment reflected the family's close bond and ability to celebrate together despite the divorce

A video of the entrance went viral with 6 million views highlighting their healthy coparenting relationship

A bride's parents made their wedding entrance to a hit Taylor Swift song for the funniest reason.

Tanner Eberle, 26, and Sydney Eberle, 27, wed at Freedom Farms in Valencia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 23. Ahead of the couple's nuptials, the bride's mother, Stacy Jump, 55, was at work one day when she heard "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Swift playing. She instantly knew the breakup anthem would be "a funny and lighthearted choice" for her reception entrance with Sydney's father, her ex-husband Randall Hazer, 57.

The bride and groom, as well as Sydney's father and stepfather, "fully approved" the comical choice for the divorced pair. When the song began playing on the big day, the 100 guests "absolutely loved it and thought it was hilarious."

"Most of our friends and family already knew my parents were divorced, so they immediately understood the joke," Sydney tells PEOPLE. "Even the guests who didn’t know seemed to catch on pretty quickly once the song started playing."

She adds, "It definitely became one of the most memorable moments of the night."

Sydney explains that she and her parents have never been ones to "take things too seriously." Even though Jump and Hazer are divorced, they "get along really well."

"I’m really grateful that everyone is able to come together, laugh, and celebrate moments like this as a family," Sydney shares.

“It was fun," Jump adds of the reception entrance. "But I think it’s sad that there are so many divorced couples out there who can’t get along for their kids’ sake, even in moments such as a wedding."

The wedding photographer, Michaela Ingmire, captured photos and a video of the iconic entrance. Since she posted the clip on Instagram on May 24, the video has amassed about 6 million views and 140,000 likes.

"I guarantee there's a very healthy coparenting relationship that led to this song choice," the top comment reads with more than 25,000 likes. "It's funny as hell 😂."

The family is still shocked about the video going viral.

"We truly had no idea anyone was even filming the entrance, let alone posting it online, so it was definitely shocking to suddenly see videos from our wedding on social media overnight," Sydney says. "My parents were just as surprised as we were. None of us ever expected this kind of attention — we were simply having fun and trying to create a lighthearted moment for us and our guests."
