Avenged Sevenfold has officially announced a massive North American tour for 2026, teaming up with fellow 2000s rock staples Good Charlotte for a co-headlining summer run.
The news was revealed through a video teaser posted on Avenged Sevenfold’s Instagram, confirming dates, cities and ticket details that immediately caught the attention of longtime fans.
The tour begins on July 25 in Ridgedale, Missouri, and wraps up on August 27 in Phoenix, Arizona, covering major U.S. and Canadian markets along the way. Stops include Chicago, Toronto, New York, Dallas, Denver and Montreal, making the run one of the band’s most expansive North American outings in years.
For fans who grew up during the peak of MTV rock and Warped Tour culture, the pairing feels especially meaningful. Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte first crossed paths more than two decades ago, building a bond that helped shape both bands’ rise. This 2026 tour is positioned as both a forward-looking event and a celebration of shared history.

Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte Reunite
The 2026 tour arrives at a busy and creative moment for both bands. Avenged Sevenfold recently released “Magic,” their first new song in over two years, marking a fully independent release tied to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 universe. The track continues the experimental spirit introduced on their 2023 album Life Is But a Dream…, reminding fans that the band is still willing to take risks.
Good Charlotte, meanwhile, is celebrating its 30th anniversary and the release of Motel Du Cap, their first album in seven years. The record blends the band’s familiar pop-punk energy with new collaborations, reflecting how the group has grown while staying connected to its roots.
In 2005, when Avenged Sevenfold was struggling to break through with City of Evil, Good Charlotte helped introduce the band to a massive audience by debuting “Bat Country” on MTV’s "Total Request Live."
M. Shadows has openly credited the Madden brothers for believing in Avenged Sevenfold at a crucial time, calling their support a defining moment in the band’s career. Over the years, that bond extended beyond friendship into collaboration, including the 2007 hit “The River,” which featured Shadows and Synyster Gates.
