Prince William and Prince Harry's strained relationship has shown few signs of improvement, with sources suggesting the siblings haven't spoken since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in 2022.

Nevertheless, recent reports indicate the pair might reconcile next year to mark the 30th anniversary of their mother, Princess Diana's, passing.

The Diana Reward charity is understood to be organizing multiple events to honor the milestone, though uncertainty persists about whether William and Harry can set aside their disagreements, as sources have suggested the Prince of Wales "wants nothing to do with his brother".

During an interview with Danica De Giorgio on News 24, previously Sky News Australia, Cristo Foufas stated he thinks William, 44, considers it his responsibility to safeguard the monarchy's future and, consequently, regards Harry, 41, as "poisonous" due to believing his conduct and public critiques have damaged the institution.

The GB News presenter commented: "He wants absolutely nothing to do with him. I've got really high hopes for William because he gets it. The late Queen got it. I love King Charles, but I think he sometimes gets a little influenced.

"It is all about the protection of the crown. And anytime there is a scandal like Andrew, anytime there are grenades thrown about racism, they all undermine the integrity of the crown.

"And that is something I think that William absolutely understands - that he is the protector. He is the steward of that going forward. And unfortunately, I think he sees Harry as poisonous when it comes to that."

Cristo continued: "Will they stand in front of a monument of Diana and sort of smile for the cameras? Possibly. But I can absolutely guarantee you that there won't be huge long discussions, no makeup dinners, none of that sort of stuff, because Harry to William is an irritant.

"For William, the entire reason he is on this earth is the protection and the stewardship of the crown. And Harry is something that has undermined that.

"Imagine that being your life and knowing that the person who could have been closest to you has actually been the person who has tried to jeopardize that for you. I'm not sure that's something William will ever forgive."

Danica concurred, characterizing Harry's actions as "the ultimate betrayal".
