Priscilla Presley’s latest public appearance is a vibrant one, where the actress posed on a red carpet in a red ensemble.
The author stepped out for the Remus Lifestyle Night event in Mallorca on July 30.
Priscilla’s night out comes almost a year after the release of her memoir Softly as I Leave You: Life After Elvis.
Priscilla Presley, 81, made a rare red carpet appearance in, well, red!
The ex-wife of the late Elvis Presley radiated in a red dress with a matching crossbody bag and red lipstick to complete the ensemble at the Remus Lifestyle Night at Hotel Hilton Mallorca Galatzo in Spain on July 30. Priscilla posed with host Marcel Remus, a luxury real estate agent, as well as actress Mischa Barton.
Priscilla’s most recent public appearance comes almost a year after she was promoting her memoir Softly as I Leave You: Life After Elvis, which was published in September 2025 and covers all eight decades of her life.

Priscilla was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973. During their marriage, they welcomed daughter Lisa Marie Presley.
She told Hello! Magazinewhat it was like revisiting the memories she wanted to include in the book. “It took me a while to finish it up – more than 11 months,” she said in January. “You remember a lot of things, and it was a good thing to be honest. A lot of remembering wonderful times and difficult times, and you’re reliving your life.”
One of the more difficult moments she revisited was Elvis’ funeral. The singer died in 1977 at 42 years old. His funeral was at Graceland in Memphis and broadcast on national television. Thousands of fans lined the streets leading up to the estate, making for a claustrophobic experience.

“There was no privacy for those of us closest to Elvis, including the family. People and cameras surrounded the property. Mourners waited to be admitted to the house for a public viewing of Elvis’s open casket,” she writes, adding that the funeral itself was packed with “crowds of strangers.”
“They felt compelled to pay their respects as they would to a family member,” she recalls in her book. “It was overwhelming. There wasn’t room yet for our own grief.”

She also mused about what she thought Elvis would be up to if he were alive today when speaking with Hello! Magazine. “I think he’d be doing the same thing in life – singing and touring. He loved it,” she said, which would put the “Heartbreak Hotel” crooner in his 90s.

“We always remained friendly and would still get together,” she recalled of their relationship post-divorce.
“Of course, we had our daughter, and I would bring her to see her dad perform and made sure they spent a lot of time together. She’d spent extensive time with him at Graceland. We still cared for each other.”
