- Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are reuniting once more to host *Independence Eve Live With Anderson & Andy: Celebrating 250 *on July 3.

- The broadcast will air from Times Square from 8 p.m. ET/PT through 12:30 a.m. ET/PT, complete with a ball drop.

- On July 4, CNN will also report from throughout the country, broadcasting celebrations in major cities.

For those who can't wait until New Year's Eve to see the broadcast journalist and Bravo personality banter from Times Square, look no further than the night before America’s 250th birthday.

Cooper and Cohen will be in Times Square on Friday, July 3 counting down to the United States' semi quincentennial, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. The broadcast, aptly titled *Independence Eve Live With Anderson & Andy: Celebrating 250, *will air from 8 p.m. ET/PT through 12:30 a.m. ET/PT.

Just like New Year's Eve, the massive ball displayed in Times Square will drop at midnight to kick off the landmark year in U.S. history.

Throughout the evening, Cohen and Cooper will be joined by "celebrated American icons, cultural legends, and inspiring everyday heroes whose stories reflect the spirit, resilience, and diversity of the United States."

CNN correspondents and reporters will also be stationed throughout the country that night — everywhere from small towns to big cities — reporting on how Americans are celebrating the country's 250th birthday.

The CNN celebrations don't stop there. On Saturday, July 4, anchors and correspondents will continue their coverage with *The Fourth in America: Celebrating 250 *special. The National Mall in Washington, D.C., will serve as the epicenter of the coverage, including the Great American State Fair.

Later that night, Cooper will join Pamela Brown in Boston at 6 p.m. ET/PT, where CNN will exclusively broadcast the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, taking place from the Hatch Memorial Shell off the Charles River. The orchestra will be conducted by Keith Lockhart.

Lainey Wilson, Chance the Rapper, and Trombone Shorty will perform in Boston as well. The evening is expected to cap off with a fireworks show and a drone display.

Other major cities throughout the country will have their own patriotic celebrations. In the evening in New York, there will be an awe-inspiring fireworks display across both the Hudson and East Rivers.

During the day in Boston, anchor John Berman will participate in a scavenger hunt dedicated to the city's revolutionary history. Erica Hill will be broadcasting from New York, where an impressive flotilla of tall ships from around the world will sail into New York Harbor.

Other notable locations where CNN will be broadcasting and checking in from include Washington's Mount Vernon, Provincetown, Mass., Nashville, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Diego, and, of course, the White House.

The July broadcast will also feature performances throughout the country from a variety of artists including Charlie Puth and Josh Groban from Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.; Kane Brown from Cadott, Wis.; Goo Goo Dolls from the Venetian Resort Las Vegas; Maren Morris from the Majestic Theatre in Dallas; Rod Stewart from Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado; and Lil Wayne, AJR, Kool & the Gang, and Chaka Khan from BottleRock in Napa Valley, Calif.

Along with New York, Boston, and Washington, fireworks will also light up the sky in Philadelphia; Nashville; San Diego; Houston; St. Louis; Seward, Alaska; and Kauai, Hawaii.
