When asked about the proper viewing order for December 18, Ferguson and her castmates did not hesitate. They unanimously agreed fans should watch Avengers: Doomsday first before heading to see Dune: Part Three. Ferguson herself playfully dismissed the Marvel film, joking, “What was the other one?” when it was mentioned alongside Dune.

The Supergirl film, directed by Craig Gillespie and starring Milly Alcock, opened theatrically on June 26, 2026. It has earned $124 million worldwide against a production budget of $170 to $186 million. The film received mixed reviews, holding a 53% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
