Sid Wilson has been dealt a devastating blow to his career, as reports have emerged that he has been permanently kicked out of Slipknot.
The 49-year-old DJ is said to have been ousted from the legendary heavy metal band, just months after ending his engagement to Kelly Osbourne, 41. The former couple share a son, Sidney.
Sid was informed of the decision late on Friday, July 31, according to a source. Sid was one of Slipknot's nine founding members, joining the group in 1999, making him the latest original member to depart the band. It comes amid Kelly's recent heartbreaking admission about her dad Ozzy Osbourne's death.

A source told TMZ that he "was notified late Friday afternoon that he's been permanently kicked out of the band." Over the years, the lineup has undergone major changes. Craig Jones and Chris Fehn have both exited the group, while bassist Paul Gray died from a drug overdose in 2010. Drummer Joey Jordison tragically passed away in his sleep in 2021.

The reported career setback comes just months after Sid and Kelly called time on their relationship. Back in March, a source told the Daily Mail the pair had split during what was described as an "incredibly difficult" period for Kelly following the loss of her father, who passed away in July 2025.

A source revealed, "Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement. Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she's been doing everything she can to cope."
They added, "In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared."

"They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward," the source added. "Kelly has endured a great deal over the past year. Despite everything, she remains sober and is now focusing on herself and her role as a mother moving ahead."
Sid first met Kelly at Ozzfest in 1999, where the pair quickly formed a close friendship. More than two decades later, they confirmed they were romantically involved shortly after Sid celebrated his 45th birthday in 2022.
Their romance continued to blossom, and Sid proposed during Ozzy's final concert with Black Sabbath in July last year, more than three years after they took their relationship public.
The couple welcomed their son, Sidney, in 2022. In February 2024, Sid and Kelly made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
