The tennis champion, 45, said in the post that she and Preti have “never stopped celebrating” their nuptials
The couple married in two ceremonies in 2025 — one in Italy and one in Florida
Venus Williams is sharing some never-before-seen photos from her engagement to husband Andrea Preti.
Venus, 45, posted the carousel of photos, which featured the pair posing together on a beach and near a scenic villa, on Instagram on Saturday, April 4.
“We celebrated our wedding all year long last year and even though we are married now we never stopped celebrating, it’s kind of a non negotiable for us,” the athlete wrote in the caption.

“I loved being a bride. Andrea says I still get to be the bride every day. My mom says I need to stop! 😅 anyway these are our engagement photos, taken on the same day today last year, our first time ever sharing them,” she added.
Venus also shared a follow-up post on Sunday, April 5, featuring photos from their festive engagement dinner.
“Memories of our engagement dinner 4/4/2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️,” she captioned the photos.

Venus and Preti, 37, tied the knot in two separate wedding ceremonies in 2025 — one in Italy in September and another in Florida in December to honor Venus' roots in the state.

“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding,” Venus told Vogue in December.
The tennis champion went on to share that the Florida festivities lasted five full days.
“They always say weddings go so fast, and they do. We started on Monday. Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything," she told the outlet, referring to sister Serena Williams. "We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.”

The week's events leading up to the ceremony included a bridal shower and a romantic dinner at the Miami members’ club Sopra, with Venus ultimately marrying Preti in a courthouse wedding on Dec. 19.
Venus confirmed that she was engaged to Preti, an actor and producer, in July 2025 during a post-match interview.
Her confirmation came months after the pair first sparked engagement rumors in February 2025. They were initially linked in July 2024.
